The piano at the end of the world
This piano belongs to a friend on mine. It lives in an old settlers cottage on her family’s farm just outside Glen Innes. The cottage has been a childhood playhouse for several generations and was christened Walhalla.

Nativity
I am not sure why there was a Nativity exhibit at the Land of the Beardies History House Museum in Glen... but here it is... Mary, Joseph and baby Lamb... I guess the lamb is symbolic...
Mooney Mooney Bridge
There is something about the Bridge at Mooney Mooney Creek. A certain exhilaration and trepidation comes over me when I approach it. It spans the gorge of the Mooney Mooney Creek 75 m (246ft) below, making it the highest road bridge in Australia. Just north of the outskirts of Sydney on the main road link between Sydney and the North, it has been the site of many fatal car accidents and suicides. In 2003 at a cost of AU$1,000,000, a fence was erected along the sides of the bridge to prevent people from jumping off. Prior to that the bridge only had a relatively low guard rail... the height of an average sedan.
On Friday morning we headed up to Glen Innes, about 8 hours drive north of Sydney. The Mooney Mooney Bridge was shrouded in low cloud, frighteningly beautiful. I shot this straight out of the car window (I wasn't driving at the time) whilst travelling at a speed of 110km/hour. As we rounded the corned we couldn't see to the other side of the ravine, it looked like a bridge to nowhere.
